In his films Metin Çavuş, who makes documentaries about personalities rather than issues, focuses on both the lives and thoughts of his subjects. By pointing his camera at people he witnesses their daily lives, and at the same time records their remarks on both the past and the future. Supported by archival material, the images in Çavuş’s documentaries become personal intimate portraits.
